Due to the nature of the business, Pelican Tax Services, Inc. will collect and store sensitive data on individuals and businesses on-site and digitally.  Your personal data will never be shared with any individual or organization without your authorization (or your spouse's authorization, as applicable).  Some sharing is necessary, such as when you fill out our Booking or Contact forms your information is shared with our webhost, Wix, so that we can use the website to book appointments and send out periodic newsletters.  The information on Wix is shared to our Google account.  The tax data that we store digitally is through Drake Software and Secure File Pro (via DrakePortals, part of the Drake Software company), a reliable and trustworthy tax preparation software company.  The data on our tax preparation software is never accessible through any other site.  Your data is not stored anywhere else.  The only exception is if we use our computers to enter your data into another website with your authorization (such as logging in to a website to get a form or information for your tax return); in which case, you will want to read the privacy policy of that website, and we will decline any invitation to save your data for autofill, as well as declining any invitation to accept cookies.

Our website may collect cookies, which make the "autofill" option on our booking and contact pages possible.  If you wish to disable cookies, please use your browser settings to do this.

Any data that we collect is for internal use only, and is not sold, transferred, or otherwise shared with any individual or organization outside of those whose services and products are necessary for the delivery of our service to you.
